What a Whirlwind!

It has certainly been a busy, often dizzily past few weeks. Starting with teaching a five hour class, four days per week. When you are used to setting your own pace for couple of years it has been somewhat a rude awaking to the fact I am actually working! Not that I don't work at home or as a consultant. Its the actual consistency of it all. Some of you are grinning I am sure that I am having such an adjustment.

Easter was just great with the Lafler clan in attendance along with their barnyard friends. I was much appreciative that Jay, Taylen and Jarret helped burn my garden refuge pile. Jay tilled my garden after the boys spread 200 pounds of composted manure. Getting ready for the spring planting. I have bought onion and garlic sets. I also have asparagus to plant this year. James and Marc helped with removing a dead cedar tree and James checked out my golf cart. The best part was we all went to church and filled a whole pew! Not only family came, but my neighbors the Gerks also attended the prime rib feast. Lucky for us that Jesus died for our sins. We definitely enjoy the benefits of a wonderful life!

Here is a composite of pictures over that past few weeks… If you keep up on my blog I apologize for being so late in posting due the crazy schedule.

REALITY!

Home again, home again, jig -a -dee jig! Reality has set it's hard cold hand on me from the time I arrived back into the area. That includes the snow and  sleet that fell on me while trying to port my suitcases to the car after landing. The wind blowing, not at all like the trade winds of Hawaii, but the blistery cold winds of western Nebraska. Not only the weather has changed, but the everyday pace.

It has been exceptionally hard to kick start my daily living from the life of leisure to the faster pace of a working gal. Thursday I start another four day a week, five hours a night BNA night class for four weeks. Today I head back to my Lion's Club meetings to resume my presidential duties. Yikes, overload for sure! However, it is in the stars to replenish the coffers after trips a plenty.

Easter is quickly arriving and again I am hosting family and friends who want to take fellowship on this special day.
