I AM DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS

I did not have to dream hard for this Christmas was certainly a white one. Blowing snow and low visibility came true magically  from listening to Bing Crosby's White Christmas.

Christmas Eve I had my traditional oyster stew and snuggled up with Baboo and Sunny (Jessamyn's bulldog) watching Christmas movies.

Christmas I was graciously invited to the Schneider house to Christmas dinner...yummy and plenty to eat with good fellowship.

Silly Linda!

Jessamyn, Jay, Taylen and Jarret came sliding in to my house Christmas evening from Colorado Springs. They spent a few days skiing and had Christmas Eve with Jay's family. I was very thankful that they made it safely in such poor weather.

Must have had  too much eggnog!

Last Saturday I went to Zeyda's dance recital and Sunday to her Christmas program at the UMC in Mitchell.

So as you see I have been busy keeping up with the holiday bustle...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Slacking!

Boy have I been slacking. Didn't realize until today that I haven't blogged for a two weeks. Don't know why...last weekend was a read feast instead of doing the necessary Christmas decorating. I just couldn't get into the spirit until this past Tuesday morning, lol!

Last night was my last night teaching until next spring. I was very fortunate that I had a great bunch of students. They all passed with flying colors, all getting A's on their finals!

Today I am heading to Gordon to stay with the grandsons while Jay and Jessamyn head on to a third year anniversary skiing getaway . A very happy anniversary to you both!
