OPPROTUNITIES ABOUND!

Opportunities do abound, at least they have been for my business partner Linda and I.  I have been tentatively scheduled to do another BNA class in June and Linda is scheduled to do the Med Aide class in July. Linda and I were also asked to be co-interim Directors of Nursing again at the same time we were contacted to consult in Scottsbluff. WHEW! It is great to have the opportunity to pick and choose what we would like to do. 

Then there has been some organizational activities going on with a little help from my friends! Dan has been graciously helping me organize the shed and music room down stairs. Sometimes it feels like we are taking two steps forward and then one backwards... but the momental task is underway with hopefully a garage sale in the near future. 

Not to mention there is gardening to do, with asparagus tips peaking out of the ground and root crops to be planted. Also a birthday trip is in the planning with my girls to see the Grand Canyon! It is on my bucket list.

Another Family Weekend

Yes it was another fun packed weekend with family. This time Paqui, Zeyda, and Breqkon picked me up Saturday on their way to the 7th and 8th grade track meet in Chadron to see Jarret compete. Congratulations go out to Jarret for receiving 4th in high jump and second in the 440 relay. Afterwards we traveled east to Gordon for an overnight stay so we could go to Taylen and Jarret's confirmation into the United Methodist Church family at Rushville Nebraska on Sunday. 

This is the last week of teaching my BNA class. We are currently going to  Highland Park Care Center for our clinical experience. Thanks goes out to all the staff who have been very helpful and considerate towards my large class of eleven students. Pizza party tomorrow in celebration and a final on Thursday. Friday is our make up day with cleaning and reorganizing of the equipment.

What's Up With Me?

What is up with me? Good question since I have not posted a new blog entry since Saint Patrick's Day. Over two weeks and no good excuse has been forth coming. The weekend before I had the pleasure of a visit of eye lengthening portions with a combined get together with Julie and Dan. Having fun with falsies of the eye kind. Lashes that is ....

Then this Easter weekend was a free for all of family and friends who all congregated at my place. Barn animals where included, two horses, two dogs, a bucket calf and a cat. Here is a pictorial of all the weekend's events. Enjoy!
