Hooray!
Brian got good news, his CT scan was clear and he didn't have to have chemo therapy today. As he stated, he can start to live again. The oncologist wants to see him in 2 months. He will have a P.E.T. scan and see his gastroenterologist for a follow up EGD scope to see how his esophagus is healing. If no returning evidence of cancer he will need to come back every three months for tests and check ups. The next 2 months will be a time for Brian to get his strength and endurance back. We will fly back to the CTCA on May 24Th and return home on the 27Th.
We are in the wedding mode and getting ready for Paqui and Marc's big bash on June 26Th. Paqui's wedding plans gives us a wonderful distraction from the everyday worry associated with cancer treatment.
Thank you all again for your prayers and support! You have given us hope during dark times. You have helped heal Brian's spirit and body. We love you all!
