Lobster Fest

Yes, you heard me right. My friend Julie's husband Jim sent along his good wishes on the shells of six live lobsters from Maine. They arrived a half hour before Julie arrived at my house, by Fed X.  I exclaimed to the driver, "Oh, goody my lobsters are here." He gave me a sly grin and said " that must have been that noise I kept hearing in the back of the truck!" Poor guy, he probably thought he had ghosts or some varmint in the back. Julie was kind enough to cook them, for I have a hard time putting something live into boiling water. Julie was not too fond of it either, but what can I say she is the doctor and I am only the nurse :)

Friday I had another pleasant surprise when another good friend and classmate came a visiting on her way to her folks house in Kimball. Melinda and Boo her dog arrived for our second lobster/steak fest that evening. Dan the man also came and we ended up reminiscing about Brian's life and our notorious pasts.

Paqui, Marc and Zeyda came Saturday and we were able to get Brian out in the sun for a short time. It was so beautiful and a prelude to Spring.

Thank you all for surrounding us with love. We feel like a cocoon all wrapped up and warm.
