Working this weekend in the memory support unit gave me a renewed perspective on how important it is to have caring people take care of residents that have dementia. The two aides that where with me this weekend where the best, never losing their cool when residents became anxious, resistive or repetative. It is truly a blessing in my life to be working in the memory support household on occasion. I enjoy being able to help those who need understanding and love. Hopefully if I need this type of care in the future, God will grant me staff that will care for me with respect!
Prom was this past weekend in Gordon and Rushville. Carlee again was my grandson's date. They make such a beautiful couple. Prom number two for them. It reminds me how Brian and I started dating so early at age 15 and 14 respectfully. Lol, it seems sooo young now. But back then we thought we ruled the world and I think our love really did!
