It continues to be busy with occasional periods of solitude. Getting it done is the operative word isn't it?
Last week I had an appointment with my orthopedic doctor. The decision has been made to replace my old tired out right knee on June 1st. I also have been having tingling and burning sensations in my lower back, leg and foot. Now I have to go to Scottsbluff for a nerve conduction test tomorrow and pre-op visit on Thursday. I will be burning up the road and putting on the miles on my new car.
Friday the Lion's Club put on their yearly fund raiser and lottery. The Lion's Club members honored Brian and dedicated the night to him and showed a picture of him playing his guitar on the overhead along with a prayer for our family. My fellow Lions are great people and have come together for us through Brian's illness and after, ROAR!
Saturday Jessamyn, Taylen, and Jarret met me here in Alliance and we all went to my niece's wedding reception at the Sidney Elk's Club in Sidney NE. We had a great time visiting with family and had a wonderful brunch the next day out at Kevin (Brian's brother) and Tammy's home.

Sunday after getting home I was sitting and relaxing a little while watching the sun go down when lo and behold a turkey hen was crossing the yard heading home to roost. She was taking quite a chance that Rico the chihuahua wouldn't notice. Brave hen!

I so did not enjoy those nerve conduction studies! I can't believe Rico missed the turkey!
